So Kim joined the City of Aliso Viejo as the Community Development Director in August 2022. Her previous experience has primarily been in coastal cities, including Laguna Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Hermosa Beach. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking and camping, and enjoys playing tennis and ice skating.
