Mia Yuen
Marketing Chair
Mia Yuen is a graduate student in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program at the University of California, Irvine. She is also involved with the UCI Urban Planning Student Association (UPSA) and the APA OC Young and Emerging Planners (OC YEP). Mia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from UCI.
During her time as an undergraduate, Mia was introduced to the APA through an internship affiliated with the APA Central Coast Section. There she became inspired to continue working for her local APA Orange Section. Some of her passions include youth and community outreach, increasing opportunities for affordable housing, and creating sustainable cities.
Fun Fact.
While being a Disneyland fan, I love to learn about the history and architecture behind the parks. I even took a UCI Disneyland course and wrote a proposal on my own ride. Also, while a couple of us are mentioning baseball... Go Giants!!
