Back by popular demand, we're re-launching our successful APA Orange PEEL starting January 2023!
APA Orange PEEL (PLANNING: EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + LEADERSHIP) is a thriving, impactful mentoring program that builds a valuable network of peers and professionals. Help promote a positive atmosphere of career development among all planners throughout Orange County. The ideal mentoring relationship explores personal knowledge and experience in a small group or one-on-one setting. PEEL provides an opportunity for emerging planners to learn new technical insight into planning, professional development tips, leadership skills, networking strategies, and community service. There's so much to learn from each other. The kick-off is tentatively scheduled for Thursday January 26, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The program will conclude in June 2023. The commitment involves five meetings with your PEEL team, which may include participation in any events hosted by APA Orange Section.
APA plans to host three group receptions exclusive to PEEL participants:
JANUARY 2023: speed mentoring kick-off event
SPRING 2023: walking tour hosted by mentors
JUNE 2023: send-off social reception
You must be a member of APA Orange Section to participate in the PEEL program. Please note that protégés will be assessed a $20 participation fee to cover the cost of materials.
