Many golfers came together for an afternoon of golfing and fundraising to support the future of our professions. Tustin Ranch provided the setting for this fun event on August 23, 2018.
The event was possible due to our many sponsors. Our key Banquet sponsor who provided the after golf dinner funding was CSG, our Award sponsor who funded the awards for the winners was Bureau Veritas, and our Premium hole sponsors were VCA Code and HR Green. Other sponsors funded contest holes and/or tee box recognition or donated prizes for the raffle. Our thanks go to the following:
Charles Abbott Associates
Diamond Star Associates
4Leaf
Melad & Associates
Scott Fazekas & Associates
Simpson Strong-Tie
Smoke Guard California

This combined tournament of PDAOC, Orange County APA, and Orange Empire Chapter of ICC has been in place since 2005, with the first venue held at Arroyo Trabuco GC (Mission Viejo). Other venues since included the Monarch Beach golf links (Dana Point), Pelican Hill GC (Newport Beach), Strawberry Farms GC (Irvine), Los Coyotes CC (Buena Park), and Oak Creek GC (Irvine).
Each chapter takes turn over the years to put forth this annual event so that all the participants can both have a great time and give back to the next generation of planners and building technicians, plan checkers, inspectors, and future directors. 100% of our funds support scholarship efforts in the memory of Bob Goldin and Bob Storchheim.
WINNERS The following golfers proved their accuracy with shots that landed on the green as the closest to the pin on the par 3s.
