Jenny is an Urban Planner with almost ten years of experience in comprehensive planning, parks planning, placemaking, and multi-modal transportation planning and research. Her area of interest is on advancing equity and expanding opportunities in underserved communities. Meanwhile her area of expertise is in community outreach, where she has opportunities to plan, coordinate, and facilitate dialogues with community members on different planning projects.

She has been a part of APA OC for more than seven years, where she was involved with the organization in many different capacities: Board Member and Co-Chair of OC Young and Emerging Planners (OCYEP), Board Member for APA OC, and Conference Planning Committee for the 2022 APA California Conference in Anaheim. Through all these roles, the common thread was the interest in professional development for members at different stages of their professional careers.

 

Jenny is currently an Associate at PlaceWorks. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture and Bachelors of Science in Society and Environment from UC Berkeley and Master in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA.

Fun Fact

​Jenny has visited 8 out of 9 national parks in California and watched all the seasons in Pokemon except for the Alola Region.
