Chris Yeager is a Senior Planner with the City of Costa Mesa, bringing more than a decade of experience in urban planning across local jurisdictions in both Northern and Southern California. His professional work focuses on advancing efficient and transparent housing approvals, supporting sustainable economic development, and navigating complex land use and entitlement processes.
Chris is particularly passionate about improving pathways for housing production in California and fostering environments where innovative and community-oriented businesses can thrive. He is also committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of planners, with a focus on helping young and emerging professionals enter and grow within the field.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Sciences from the University of Denver.
