
Anna Pehoushek,
FAICP
Anna Pehoushek, FAICP is the Assistant Community Development Director for the City of Orange. She is driven by her desire to ensure that development occurs in a manner that is consistent with the City’s long-term land use and quality of life goals for the community. In her capacity as Assistant Community Development Director, Anna focuses her efforts on achieving high quality projects, and facilitating property reinvestment and land use dynamics that better serve the community into the future.

Anna has been responsible for a wide array of long-range planning projects at the City and was instrumental in garnering the Old Towne Orange Plaza’s recognition as a “Great Place in America” by the American Planning Association. She has led a number of award winning projects for the City of Orange.

Over her 30-year career, Anna has worked in the public and private sectors in Southern and Northern California. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Occidental College, and Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis in Historic Preservation from Cornell University. In 2022 she was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners
